I’ve written quite a bit about my experiences migrating DefenseTech.org from Movable Type to WordPress. This site has been a real challenge and a great experience.

Jamie’s site launched with a bang – we got slashdot-ed while I was still in development!

I earned my third honorable mention Webby for project managing the launch of DoDBuzz.com in 2008.

I was the technical project manager for the migration of a huge video channel project. We migrated over 2,000 videos to a new partner with minimal downtime.

I designed the SEO improvements for the migration of a News channel to a new content management system. Organic visits increased 400% over 9 months!

I produced a community photo center working with SmugMug. The project included a lead form, registration gate, authentication between sites and a LOT of photo moderation!

I played Producer/Project Manager for front-end and deployment, and earned my first honorary Webby.
