Pingdom is an uptime monitoring solution with points of presence throughout Europe and the US. They check your site up to every minute. And they’re big on SMS.

But they also have a few things that make them really special.

Pingdom.com has a page download analyzer and report that graphs all the elements on a page. Yes, you can get the same from Firebug and other local tools, and you can also get this from other services.

But can you get it for free, with filtering, permalink, sharing and report archival?

You also get trace route and ping for free, so right there Pingdom.com has your site’s performance analysis pretty well covered.

So let’s get back to Pingdom’s core business – uptime monitoring.
